Staff Psychologist

Dr. Rackham earned his Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology in 2012 at Georgia Southern University, with specialty training in rural psychology. He completed his internship and post-doctoral residency at Stone Mountain Health Services in Virginia. Soon afterward, he was the Behavioral Health lead at Community Health Centers of Southeastern Iowa, assisting with the development of the behavioral health program and integrated care services. Later, he moved to Rolla, MO to work with Phelps Health. There, he helped to develop three integrated care clinics in internal medicine, family medicine, and pediatrics. When Compass Health took over Phelps Health’s Behavioral Health department, he began working more exclusively in community mental health care.

He identifies as a generalist and has experience working in a variety of settings, including community mental health centers, primary care clinics in hospital systems, federally qualified health centers, college counseling, and military treatment centers. His special interest is in pediatrics, but he sees all ages, for a variety of issues, with specialty training in ADHD, PCBH model of integrated care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Hypnosis (in the general population and pediatrics). His theoretical orientation focuses on ACT, behavioral, and hypnosis-enhanced strategies. Dr. Rackham has been providing supervision on and off since 2012.
