Dr. Carrie French
Dr. French received her doctorate degree from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, and received her master’s degree from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She completed her internship and post-doctoral residency with Royal Oaks Hospital with a focus on psychological testing and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. In the past, she has provided psychological services in inpatient, outpatient, school, residential, home, community, and primary care settings. Currently, Dr. French is serving as the Director of the High Acuity Unit Program and provides clinical services in the High Acuity Unit, Adolescent Units, and Pre-Adolescent Units. While completing her post-doctoral residency Dr. French provided training, individual supervision, and group supervision to psychological interns and has a passion for training and supervision. After completing the post-doc, Dr. French has continued to provide training and supervision. She currently serves as a primary and secondary supervisor for interns at Royal Oaks Hospital. Her primary clinical interests are working with individuals from underserved populations, individuals with developmental disabilities, and individuals with severe emotional and behavioral symptoms.
